How has Lyme Disease affected your life?
Lyme has affected every aspect of my life for the last 18 years. It gave me chronic nerve pain, fatigue and poor thought processing. I never know from 1 hour to the next how I am going to feel.
What inspires you?
I look for things each day to be grateful for no matter how small. My husband, Jeff, stood by me all this time. I love to watch my kids’ lives unfold. I pray. I have hope. I knit. I crochet. I see Lyme addressed as it should be in the near future. Laughter is the best! Smiles are a gift! Lyme advocates inspire me to raise more awareness! Their courage, wisdom, kindness, generosity, and humor is wonderfully contagious! Due to nerve damage, I love heat on my feet! I believe in a cure! End Lyme!
